It's exactly the same as FH3, just when you first start the game you are put (after the first hour or two) into the shared world. You then select "Offline mode" and never have to bother again. You can still do rivals, AH, you get drivatars, daily and weekly Forzathon. You get leaderboards. The only thing you are missing is Forzathon Live.
